ONE DIRECTION PUBLICA HOY EN ESPAÑA SU NUEVO DVD UP ALL NIGHT - THE LIVE TOUR

One Direction ha vendido más de 4,2 millones de discos en seis meses, ha conseguido más de 204 millones de visitas en YouTube, más de 12 millones de seguidores en Twitter, más de cuatro en Facebook, dos libros sobre el grupo han sido nº1 en ventas y tres singles de su primer álbum (Up All Night) han sido rotundos éxitos.

Ahora, tras haber finalizado su primera gira con todo vendido en Reino Unido, Harry, Niall, Zayn, Liam y Louis, es decir One Direction, anuncian el lanzamiento de su primer DVD, que ha sido grabado durante este periplo. Es un concierto de 73 minutos filmado el pasado mes de enero y que contiene todos los éxitos de su álbum de debut, versiones de sus canciones favoritas y algunas sorpresas, además de un documental “detrás del escenario” y los vídeos de What Makes You Beautiful, Gotta Be You y One Thing.

Con el disco Up All Night, One Direction ha sido nº1 en las listas de 13 países, certificando triple platino en Irlanda, doble platino en Reino Unido y Australia y platino en Nueva Zelanda. Su gira por Reino Unido e Irlanda de 2012 ya ha agotado las entradas, con 300.000 vendidas el primer día. La gira por Australia y Nueva Zelanda se vendió en tres minutos.

One Direction ha hecho historia al ser el primer grupo británico que entra directo al nº1 en Estados Unidos con su primer álbum. Con Up All Night, One Direction se situó en la primera semana en lo más alto de la lista Billboard 200. Up All Night entró también directamente en el nº1 de la lista digital pocos minutos después de su lanzamiento oficial el pasado 13 de marzo.

One Direction está formado por Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles y Zayn Malik. Todos nacieron en Reino Unido excepto el irlandés Horan. Tienen entre 18 y 20 años y en el programa Factor X de 2012 se presentaron cada uno por separado. Se unieron bajo la tutela de Simon Cowell, acabaron terceros y consiguieron una gigantesca base de fans que los ha convertido en los grandes triunfadores del año.
